Team

William is a full-stack developer and ML engineer, working in generative AI for over five years. He's been on the founding teams of three AI startups — most recently glif, where he worked on LLM-based workflows, chatbot experience, and the creative AI agent platform with hundreds of thousands of users. He was also the first engineer hired at AlpacaML, building their webapp and model finetuning platform for digital artists. At Mystic AI (YC W21), he wrote inference pipelines and created demos for early language models like GPT-J, long before ChatGPT was born.

Although focused on AI integration, William has broad experience across the stack — from frontend and backend through to ML deployment, database and payment infrastructure, and general DevOps. He has been taking on freelance projects since 2023 and recently launched Everything to do it full-time. He is a regular theatregoer and writer, with a degree in English Literature from UCL. He is also the organiser of Bath Machine Learning Meetup.
